Ride Me (Hu Pjacir)

Ride Me (Hu Pjacir) was released by Flesh on 1 May 2001 as a 12″ single by Dalek & Armani. The track was produced in 2000 at Narodni Podník 4 in Berlin. The collaboration between Corvin Dalek and Joseph Armani followed their first meeting at an MFS night at Pfefferberg.

Joseph Armani’s voice provides the central vocal material. The phrase “Hu Pjacir” – described by Armani as Maltese for “It’s a pleasure” – became part of the title and a recurring element in the production.

The A-side contains Ride Me (Hu Pjacir), while the B-side features Ride Me (Black Emanuelle’s Twisted Pair Mix). A self-directed video version, the Reichstag Edition, was produced alongside the release, and the track was also included in Corvin Dalek’s 2001 mix for the Ministry Magazine Ibiza edition.
