Rheinkraft (Corvin Dalek Rhein & Raus Remix)

Oliver Klein’s Rheinkraft (Corvin Dalek Rhein & Raus Remix) was released by Maelstrom Records on 5 March 2001 on the UK 12″ MAELT001. Corvin Dalek’s 7:03 version appears on B1, alongside the Original Mix on the A-side and the Ian Wilkie Remix on B2.

The remix formed part of a reciprocal remix exchange between Oliver Klein and Corvin Dalek: Oliver Klein reworked Pounds & Pénz, while Corvin Dalek took on Rheinkraft. The original framework remained recognisable, while the arrangement was rebuilt around repetitive patterns, direct beats and a more pronounced low-end for Corvin Dalek’s contemporary Wet&Hard production.

The Maelstrom release presented Rheinkraft in a new UK single configuration in 2001. Rheinkraft also appeared as a Maelstrom CD single within the same year. On the 12″, Corvin Dalek’s version is identified by the historical title Corvin Dalek Rhein & Raus Remix.
