Pounds & Pénz (Remixes)

Pounds & Pénz (Remixes) was released by Flesh on 1 April 2001 as a 12″ remix single by Corvin Dalek. Catalogue number 7608-6 pairs Alex Flatner’s Deutsche Mark Remix on the A-side with Oliver Klein’s new Wet&Hard Remix on the B-side.

Flatner’s Deutsche Mark Remix had already appeared on the original Pounds & Pénz 12″ released by MFS in 1999. Its tribal-influenced percussive structure is paired on the Flesh edition with a new version by Oliver Klein. Oliver Klein and Jürgen Driessen are credited with additional production and remix on the Wet&Hard Remix, while the underlying production is credited to Corvin Dalek, Alex Flatner and Noel Pix.

Artwork and design were created by Corvin Dalek and Mark Reeder at Narodni Podník. The visual treatment continues the currency theme of the original release through red lace, a dollar image and a modified Great Seal graphic.
