The Gallery @ Turnmills, London, 2001

On 26 January 2001, Corvin Dalek played in London for the first time at The Gallery at Turnmills. The invitation came through Timo Maas in connection with his residency at The Gallery.

The DJ set combines Acid, Progressive House, electronic tracks and material associated with Dalek’s Wet&Hard context of the period. After the performance, the recording was passed to Danny Newman at Turnmills and subsequently circulated within the UK events environment.

These contacts led to further work in the UK, including a later relationship with Serious Artist Management in London. Turnmills and The Gallery subsequently appeared repeatedly within Corvin Dalek’s UK DJ schedule.

The surviving recording documents the set from 26 January 2001 and is now available via Mixcloud.
