SCI-FI #2

SCI-FI #2 is an approximately 70-minute audiovisual DJ mix by Corvin Dalek within the experimental 3TØN project. The mix was recorded in Berlin in April 2025 and published as a complete video work on 1 May 2025.

Musically, the set operates between 136 and 140 BPM, using raw techno structures, broken machine grooves, ring modulation, distortion, modular textures and short harmonic disruptions. The selection develops as a continuous mix, positioned between functional techno and more experimental sound processing.

For this 3TØN format, a complete visual version was produced alongside the mix. Approximately 330 short clips were generated using SORA and subsequently edited into a 70-minute VJ film. The visual production draws on analogue science-fiction film, high-contrast monochrome imagery, technical spaces, machine architecture and glitch structures.

The visual premise follows a fictional sound molecule landing on an unknown planet and recording what it encounters. The camera moves through unfamiliar club zones, beings and architectures; repetition and short loops remain visible as part of the original VJ structure.

SCI-FI #2 therefore combines an independently produced DJ mix with an AI-assisted visual layer created specifically for the complete audiovisual edition.
