Der Klang Der Familie (Corvin Dalek’s Wet & Hard Rewix)

Corvin Dalek’s Wet & Hard Rewix of Der Klang Der Familie was released in 2000 by UK label Silver Planet Recordings. The version appeared on SILVER29X as the AA-side, paired with the King Of Spin Remix on side A.

The remix was produced during Dalek’s early Wet&Hard period and restructures the source material around a more percussive and club-oriented framework. Production took place at Narodni Podník 4, Dalek’s home studio at the time. Live bongo elements were incorporated into the rhythmic construction.

The Wet & Hard Rewix subsequently became part of Dalek’s own DJ repertoire. A surviving tracklist from his Loveparade set in Berlin on 21 July 2001 documents the remix within the set.

The original pressing remains preserved in the archive as the physical release document.
