Together. Ibiza Vol. 2

Together. Ibiza Vol. 2 was released in the UK in August 2001 as a mixed CD compilation from Ministry Magazine. Selected and mixed by Corvin Dalek, the 15-track, 69:52-minute release documents his DJ and production repertoire during the Wet&Hard period of summer 2001.

The mix combines house, trance and harder club material with a substantial concentration of Dalek’s own work from the period. Alongside Pornoground and the collaboration with Joseph Armani, Ride Me, the compilation contains several Corvin Dalek remixes, including versions of Mismoplastico, Der Klang Der Familie, My Sunday’s Love, Take (My Breath Away), Dawn Voyeur and Uni-Fiktion. The complete 15-track configuration is documented in a contemporary review dated 2 August 2001.

As a result, the compilation functions in the archive both as a DJ mix and as a contemporary cross-section of Dalek’s production and remix work. His own recordings and remixes appear within a continuous mix alongside material by artists including Chab, Kama Arts, Oliver Klein and Black Emanuelle.

The release also belongs to the context of Dalek’s Ibiza activity during summer 2001.
