The Door (Corvin Dalek’s Creme De La Face Remix)

The Door (Corvin Dalek’s Creme De La Face Remix) by Circuit Boy feat. Alan T. was released by Flesh on 11 September 2001 as part of a 12″ containing three versions of the track. The A-side contains Corvin Dalek’s remix and the short Full Facial A Capella, while Danny Tenaglia’s Quarter Flash Dub Remix appears on the B-side.

Corvin Dalek’s remix was developed over an extended production period and completed at Narodni Podník 4. It was the final production completed there before the move to Narodni Podník 5. Alan T.’s vocal material remained the central source, surrounded by a reduced arrangement built from repetitive structures, direct beats and a pronounced low-end foundation.

The three versions present different treatments of the vocal and song material within the same 12″ release. Corvin Dalek’s version is titled Creme De La Face Remix on the physical release, and this historical spelling is retained in the archive.
