Working on HOTKUNST was an intensive process of curating tracks that perfectly reflected the Wet&Hard sound. I selected pieces that balanced techno’s raw energy with house’s sensuality, combining them with my own productions. The title HOTKUNST was coined by Mark Reeder – a playful twist on the English pronunciation of “Hot Cunts.” Mark’s manic humor and creativity always added a distinctive edge to our projects, giving this compilation its unforgettable character. For me, HOTKUNST remains a significant milestone in my career. This compilation was an opportunity to unite the vision of a style I helped shape onto a single CD, marking the first chapters of the Wet&Hard legend. It was the moment when the essence of this style became tangible – not just in the clubs but for a broader audience.
