Circuit Boy feat. Alan T. – The Door (Créme De La Face Remix)
I spent over a year perfecting my Créme De La Face Remix of “The Door” – a track that still stands as one of my most intense productions. Hard, relentless, and driven by deep basslines, sharp hi-hats, and pounding beats, this remix embodies the essence of Wet&Hard. The original, produced by Circuit Boy, featured the unmistakable voice of Alan T., the infamous doorman of Twilo Club in New York. His words controlled the night, deciding who entered and who was left outside. That tension – the moment of judgment -became the core of my remix.
The Final Mix at Narodni Podník 4
This was the last remix I created in my Narodni Podnik 4 studio before moving to NP5. A turning point in my workflow, my sound, and my environment. The mix carries that transition: raw energy, urgency, and an uncompromising attitude. Released on Flesh (7607-6), the vinyl also featured Danny Tenaglia’s Quarter Flash Dub – a deep, rolling interpretation of the track. In contrast, my remix hits harder, moves faster, and pushes Wet&Hard to its limits. Our seventh release on Flesh, and another step in defining the label’s signature. This remix was about reimagining control on the dancefloor. Bass that shakes the room. Beats that demand attention. A voice that commands.
