Overdrive is a bold exploration of hard techno, hypnotic grooves, and relentless energy. Released on Techno Vinyl Records (TVR3C5) in 2018, this collaboration with Andrew T Dorn brought together some of the most distinctive voices in underground techno. Andrew is a Hungarian DJ, producer, and founder of Rawsery Records, the successor to Techno Vinyl Records. His signature sound blends hard techno with IDM influences, often incorporating his own voice to create a mystical, hypnotic atmosphere. Although we had never met in person, our creative synergy flourished online. The internet made this collaboration possible – proving that music knows no borders.
3ToN – The Sound of Creative Freedom
The opening track on this EP, the 3ToN Remix, comes from my own project, 3ToN – a space where I could break free from the Dalek mindset and explore pure, hypnotic, high-energy minimal techno. Under 3ToN, I allowed myself to step outside expectations, producing music without preconceptions – just instinct, movement, and sound. A crazy experiment, but one that also awakened something in me: the realization that at any moment, you can just do what you want. If there were no determination…
