A Fresh Start in Challenging Times

Deep Ride was released on August 31, 2023, via the Mexican label Toltecnica Records as part of their carefully curated compilation, Global Electronic Sound Vol. One. This track represents a pivotal moment in my artistic journey, created during a phase of reflection and recalibration.

After deciding to reboot my production system and dive back into creating Techno, my good friend DJ Klang invited me to contribute to this unique compilation. The result, Deep Ride, mirrors the rhythm of my daily life in Berlin-Friedrichshain – a deep, meditative state of creativity in the midst of uncertainty.

Born in a Time of Transition

Deep Ride was crafted in the confines of my current studio during the pandemic, a time marked by isolation and creative exploration. Alongside music production, I delved into writing: penning my memoirs, exploring narratives for a potential novel, and even drafting ideas for a future film. Klang’s invitation provided a spark to channel these emotions into music, and thus, Deep Ride was born. The track combines club-ready energy with a hypnotic flow. While it doesn’t race at full speed, it serves as a clear signal of my creative engine reigniting. It’s a celebration of resilience and adaptability, proving that even in difficult times, new music can emerge.
