This remix brought together three distinct positions in electronic music. Blank & Jones, known for their work in trance; Anne Clark, whose voice and texts have shaped the lyrical language of the genre; and my own Wet&Hard approach. In 2002, Blank & Jones invited me to reinterpret The Hardest Heart. The original track, already defined by its intensity, offered a framework that aligned with my sound. Anne Clark’s vocals remained untouched. Around them, I built a sequence of acid-inflected basslines and high-pressure rhythms. The goal was to increase its simulating energy.

The remix found its place in club settings and remained part of many sets beyond its release cycle. Today, more than two decades later, The Hardest Heart (Corvin Dalek’s Sexinfarkt Remix) continues to circulate – available via Spotify, Beatport, and vinyl.
